Invitation from Arlene Ackerman to Second Superintendent's Roundtable Meeting with Parents
The following was sent out by Dr. Ackerman's office:
"Dear Parents,
Thank you for attending our very successful 1st monthly Super-intendent’s Parent Roundtable on Thursday, November 6, 2008. Over 200 parents attended and they shared their deep insights and feedback regarding various topics. Accordingly, I am excited to invite you to our 2nd Parent Roundtable on Thursday, December 18, 2008 in the Auditorium, at 440 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, 19130, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At our 2nd Roundtable, I will report on the follow-up actions implemented from the recommendations provided on November 6. Dinner will be served from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m.
I am especially delighted to share that we will also unveil our year round Parent Resource Center located at 440 North Broad Street. You will also participate in our Strategic Planning Process as we collaborate to increase student achievement.
